MeduMAZE Facilitation
Dr. Sisk is an authorized facilitator for the MeduMAZE Drug Development and Approval Game, a board game that models the global drug development process from early nonclinical testing to government approval to market. MeduMAZE is designed to represent a simulation of the entire medicine development process and includes key learning points about:
• Early Discovery & Development
• Full Development & Clinical Studies
• Regulatory Review & Approval.
When combined with a didactic component as part of a training program, MeduMaZe brings the medicine development process to life and teaches the importance of good science and planning in a relaxed and enjoyable way. MeduMaZe includes information pertinent to US, EU, Canadian and Australasian aspects of pharmaceutical development and registration - it is intended to encourage a global approach to helping patients.
This game can be used either alone or together with other training or workshops mentioned above as a team-building activity in which personnel can familiarize themselves with the drug development process, current projects, and colleagues’ professional experiences in a relaxed and productive setting. The didactic component lasts 1 to 1.5 hours and the game takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to play.
